Tanglewood is a great affluent residential area near the Galleria first developed in the 1930's.  Tanglewood is minutes from Memorial Park, and Downtown.   This area of town was once home of George and Barbara Bush.  Learn more on the HOA website.

Uptown District or Galleria

  The Uptown District or Galleria area is known for the Galleria Mall. Developed by Gerald D. Hines in 1969, with the opening of the Mall in 1970. The area around the mall is filled with mix up, from residential, commercial spaces for offices, high rises, town-homes, with fine dinning and entrainment within in minutes drive. According to the Spring Branch website, their naming came by accident.  Spring Branch was a prominent suburb in west Houston in the 1960's and 1970's, and is now returning to those days.  Spring Branch has become one of the most diverse parts of town and with its proximity to downtown and the Galleria make it convenient for those that work in town.    Everything you need to know is one click away.

Memorial City District

Memorial City District is centered around the Luxury Mall between Gessner and Bunker Hill on the south side of I-10, with the district extending to Memorial Drive.   Memorial City District is home to the Memorial City Hospital, one of the city's top hospitals, and near the Memorial Villages, affluent neighborhoods to the east.  Once primarily commercial, there have been developments of luxury condominiums, and apartments.  Check the Memorial District website.

City Centre once known as Town and County Mall, when in 2009 the area took on a revitalization of the complete overhaul of the area and rebranding.  City Centre covers 37 acres with all kinds of retail, upscale restaurants, office space, luxury apartment, condos, nightlife and open air plaza where you can find live music on a sunny Spring Sunday afternoon.  Learn more about all there is to know with the City Centre website.

 Energy Corridor  is another section of Spring Branch between the beltway and Highway 6, from Briar Forest to I-10.  The area gets it's name from the variety of energy companies that choose to relocate to buildings off Memorial Drive west of Eldridge.    Learn more about this thriving suburb of Houston.

Westchase District neighbors the Energy Corridor and is just south of the area, with a lot of mixed use commercial, shopping, restaurants, bars, and plenty of single family homes.   Check out the website to see what all is happening is this busy district.

Copperfield another development of Friendswood in 1972. Copperfield in unincorporated Harris County off Highway 6, between FM 529 and 290. The area has retained its value and maintains great neighborhoods for families.

Bear Creek gets it's name from the near by park created in the 1940's after construction of the Addicks Reservoir.  The park covers over 2100 acres with all kids of things to do outside, from golf, a small zoo, equestrian trails, soccer fields, softball fields, baseball fields, lighted tennis courts, grills and picnic areas.  The area is surrounded by median priced homes, and plenty of commercial establishments for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment along highway 6.  Visit the county website for all the things to do at the park.

Cinco Ranch is a huge master planned community in the west ETJ of Houston, covering 2 counties (Fort Bend & Harris). Cinco Ranch is considered a part of Katy, but actually 10 miles away from the actual city. When the land was purchased for this community it was the largest land transaction in Houston history.  Towne Lake is a master planned community with a 300 acre lake and the largest private recreational lake in the metro area. Many of the homes are lakeside along the 14 miles of shoreline, with all kinds of amenities providing a unique style living on the lake. Located on the far west part of town with everything you need from shopping minutes away, fast food, restaurants, and bars.
